What We Do

Manila Training Facility

At the heart of AG&P’s workforce model is our state-of-the-art training and evaluation facility in Manila, Philippines. This facility is designed to serve the full spectrum of tradespeople:

  • 0-6 months experience: newcomers entering the industry
  • 1-4 years’ experience: intermediate workers building core trade skills’
  • 5+ years’ experience: senior workers looking to advance their skills, leadership prep, and international project readiness.

The facility has dedicated training programs for pipefitters and welders, ensuring that each trade receives specialized, progression-based instruction aligned with Canadian project and regulator requirements.

The Manila facility enables AG&P to:

  • Assess and train tradespeople before deployment to Canada.
  • Verify technical skills and safety standards against Canadian project requirements.
  • Provide trade-specific upskilling so workers arrive site-ready and able to integrate quickly.
  • Support certification pathways, ensuring workers are prepared to meet provincial regulator standards and pursue Journeyperson or Apprenticeship recognition where required.

Pipefitters

  • Rigging practices (basic & advanced).
  • Hydrostatic testing, stress relieving & aligning.

Welders

  • Orientation, welding safety, oxyfuel cutting.
  • Welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, RMD).

Other Trades & Professions

For disciplines not directly trained in-house (e.g., electricians, instrumentation, millwrights, heavy equipment operators, etc. AG&P partners with external training institutions and certification providers to deliver accredited, regulator-recognized programs meet the same standards of readiness, safety, and compliance before deployment to Canada.
