Building Canada’s future
with Local Talent and Global Support
AG&P Canada helps keep Canada’s projects moving by hiring local Canadian tradespeople first and filling critical labour gaps with skilled workers from the Philippines.
Who We Are
AG&P Canada, headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, is a fully owned subsidiary of Atlantic, Gulf & Pacific (AG&P Manila), the largest industrial employer in the Philippines. With over 125 years of global experience, AG&P has built a reputation for delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality workforce and project solutions worldwide. AG&P Canada operates as part of AG&P America’s, leveraging established U.S. operations and regional expertise to support Canadian industries with compliant and scalable workforce solutions.

What We Plan to Offer in Canada
AG&P Canada’s mission is to support local hiring while addressing the shortage of available Canadian skilled tradespeople. We work with employers to recruit, train, and deploy Canadian workers first. When additional support is needed, we deploy highly trained tradespeople from the Philippines through Canada’s Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) and the International Mobility Program (IMP). Our workforce is structured to keep projects moving without costly delays. TFWs can be contracted for the full duration of their work permit and historically show minimal to zero attrition, providing stability for long term project schedules. This balanced approach ensures projects are staffed with the right people, on time, and to Canadian standards.
We partner with clients across various industries, where regulated occupations require experienced and certified tradespeople. To support long-term success, we help workers complete the training, hours, and competency requirements needed to be recognized by provincial authorities as Certified Journeypersons or Sponsored Apprentices.
Support at Every Stage
Whether you have a local hiring need, have exhausted your local talent pool and ran out of options, have no experience with the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, or want expert guidance, AG&P Canada is ready to step in. Backed by our exceptional immigration lawyers, we make the process simple, compliant, and effective—no matter where you start.
